We're fussy, and did a lot of homework before buying this apartment; therefore you can be confident of a great holiday in Chatel.
Ease of access was also a priority for us. We found Chatel ideal as being only 90 minutes' drive from Geneva airport and easily driveable from Calais in 9 hours.
Are you like us? Winter or Summer we prefer to stay in a real French village than a purpose built concrete jungle which becomes a ghost town in the Summer. If you click on these links you can see a 360 panoramic view of Chatel in the Winter or Summer.

Don't be fooled by the relatively low altitude, with a ski system covering more than 650 km you are almost sure to find plenty of snow from December through to late April - yes really April normally offers fabulous skiing in this area, and there are numerous snow cannons to make sure.
Two minutes' walk and you are in the heart of Chatel, a traditional Savoyard farming village surrounded by scenic lush green pastures ideal for summer walks, and offering world class winter skiing. The shops sell locally produced Rebelcon cheese and meats, while the many family run restaurants serve delcious Savoyard dishes.
